One2One

The One2One program at Lalor Library can help you learn more than just the basics. Learn how to use your digital camera, iPod, edit photos use programs and more. Contact Lalor Library for more information.

Lalor Library has regular classes for Basic Computers, Basic Internet, Basid Word and Basic Email. Bookings are essential and you can contact Lalor for dates and times.

How much does it cost for a One2One session?
All classes and one2one sessions are free of charge.

How long is the session?
One2one sessions can go from 5 minutes to 30 minutes, depending on the topic.

Do I need to make a booking?
Yes, bookings are essential and can be made from Tuesdays – Sundays. Speak to a staff member for more information.

What if I only have one question about a particular technology and I don’t want to join a class or attend a One2One session?

Is there email support?
Yes, you can email us at connect@yprl.vic.gov.au. Allow up to 48 hours for a reply. This email is for technology and internet related questions only.

What can you help me with?

We can help you with many things. If you have equipment you want to know how to use, for example your digital camera or mp3 player. We can show you how to use software on the computer or how to save on USB or CD. You can also bring in your laptop and connect to the internet at the library via Wi-Fi for free. We can guide you on questions you have about laptop/PC problems.

The library will do its best to help you or refer you to the experts.

Is there support for Vista or Microsoft 2007 products?

Unfortunately we do not have access to Vista or Microsoft 2007 products, but there are plenty of books you can borrow to help you. Click here to search our catalogue.

If you have a laptop with Vista you can bring it in to your One2One session, there is a staff member who can help you with the basics on your laptop.
